FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cooling systems of engines and it can be used in internal combustion engines with forced ignition. Proposed liquid cooling system of internal combustion engine has engine cooling jacket, liquid pump and cooling radiator, all filled with cooling liquid and connected into closed circuit, and expansion tank connected with cooling circuit. It has also pressure supply source consisting of compressor with electric drive and pressure transmitter and made to provide excess working pressure in cooling system from moment of beginning of engine operation.
EFFECT: improved engine cooling at beginning of operation under high and variable loads, reduced toxicity of exhaust gases under all operating conditions and environmental conditions.
