FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: use in the field of electric power for the melting of ice on wires of the contact network of railway transport. Method of removing ice from the wires of the high-speed main contact suspension in the zone of the air gunner without crossing the wires consists in passing an electric current through the wires of the contact suspension, in this case, pre-form the circuit by means of electrical connectors by connecting the wires of the first contact suspension air gunner zone to the wires of the third contact suspension and the connections at the end of the air gunner zone of the wires of the third contact suspension with the wires of the second contact suspension, and to transmit electric current through the formed circuit from the wires of three contact pendants, electric power is supplied to it from the power transformer of the traction substation of the contact network.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the efficiency and speed of ice removal on the wires of the high-speed mains contact network, including the elements of its air gunner.
