FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a charging system, including a charging station and a vehicle. Said vehicle includes four electrical contacts to create a connection with the four mating electrical contacts of the charging station. Said electrical contacts that are located on the top of the vehicle have free access from above. Above charging station can be L-shaped. Said charging station is designed to vertically move its electrical contacts, and their length is less than the width of the vehicle. At least one electrical contact of the charging station is arranged in such a way that when it is in the charging position it extends across its mating electrical contact of the vehicle. Also, the four electrical contacts are arranged in the horizontal plane in a rectangle or crosswise.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to exclude a current collector (pantograph) from the design of the vehicle.
