SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of using marine technology and can be used to control the underwater environment and protect water areas from offshore objects of unfriendly countries. For the protection of the water area, sea surface and underwater objects are searched with the help of an autonomous uninhabited underwater vehicle equipped with means of searching for sea objects. Primary detection of a marine object is carried out by a spacecraft or an aircraft. UUV is kept in the guarded area on duty, for which they are moved to the area in advance and placed on the ground at a given point, the active means of searching for sea objects are turned off, power plant and navigation equipment. Periodically, with a predetermined time interval, the UUV is withdrawn to communicate with a spacecraft or an aircraft and a control station, for which the buoy-transponder is detached from it, raised to a predetermined depth and a communication line is established with the spacecraft or the aircraft and the control station. At the control station, the coordinates of the buoy-transponder, determined by a space or aircraft, the efficiency of the UUV and the task it solves. After the end of the communication session, the buoy-transponder is lowered to the UUV, calculate the route and depth of the course of the UUV to the point of interception of the detected marine object, fired into the area of the UUV, a reactive cipher charge or a soundproof device for communication with the UUV, they communicate with the UUV and transmit the coordinates of the calculated point for the interception of the marine object, the depth of the course of the UUV and the route of its movement, include navigation equipment and the power-generating unit UUV.
