FIELD: marine equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for illumination of underwater situation. Device for underwater situation illumination represents underwater vehicle with variable buoyancy—glider, equipped with onboard control systems, course indication and target detection with flexible extended towed antenna. On the glider body there installed is an attachment unit, to which the radio beacon is fixed, having a current source, a storage device, connected to board control system of glider, aerostat, to which cable-rope and antenna are attached. Balloon launch device includes gas generator or cylinder with compressed gas, reduction gear and self-closing valve.
EFFECT: enabling long-term and covert surveillance of the underwater environment in a given region, operatively and secretively transmitting data on the detected object to the control station.
