FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of engineering and can be used in the construction of solid propellant rocket engine housings made of composite materials. Rocket engine housing contains a bottom with a rigid metal flange located in the central bore of the bottom, lined inside with a heat-protective coating of a rubber-like material with a ring of composite material in its end part at the central opening of the flange. In the flange, from the side of its inner surface, a number of blind threaded holes are arranged along the coaxial flange of the circle. On the inside of the ring, through holes are made, coaxial with the holes of the flange, in which the screws screwed into the flange are located. In the ring between the through holes, in which the screws are located, the through holes filled with the material of the heat-protective coating are uniformly made, forming with the latter a single whole.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the reliability of the rocket engine housing by arranging physical cross-links between the material of the heat-shielding coating inside the through-holes of the ring, and the material of said coating located along the outer contour of the ring.
