FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of military equipment and is intended for issuing a command for the ammunition firing when they collide with the target. Target contact sensor contains fairing and placed on its surface sensing element, which determines the given sensitivity zone. Sensing element is track made of a conductive material, and is provided with contact areas for connection to the actuating element. Fairing is made of optically transparent in the given spectral region material, which breaks down in the target touching moment. Sensing element is placed on the fairing inner surface, and is the easily breakable thin film coating. Fairing is made of optically transparent in the visible and infrared spectrum regions material. Fairing is made of zinc selenide. Issuance of the command to the actuator for the ammunition firing is performed by the conductive path interruption with the fairing destruction at the target touching moment.
EFFECT: reduction in the ammunition response time while maintaining the ability of target tracking until the moment of contact, which in turn ensures improved accuracy of the target hitting.
