FIELD: ecology.
SUBSTANCE: sealing of radioactive waste (RW) implies their dehydration, sintering and calcination at high temperature. The automated high-frequency system for radioactive waste sealing contains a high-frequency generator, a cover with an input waveguide and a replaceable container forming a resonator, a waveguide path connecting a high-frequency generator and a resonator, an EH tuner included in the waveguide channel, and an auto-tuning unit, solid-state amplifier and a master oscillator with adjustable power and frequency are used as high-frequency oscillator, and to the input waveguide of the resonator a segment of the waveguide with a movable plunger in connected, linked to the auto-tuning unit. The technical result consists in providing the possibility of tuning the frequency of the high-frequency oscillator, as well as rebuilding the coupling factor of the resonator formed by the cover and the replaceable container with radioactive waste inside, with the feed waveguide, which allows good matching of the waveguide channel and the resonator at the operating frequency.
EFFECT: harmonization of the waveguide path minimizes the probability of high-frequency breakdowns in the waveguide path, ensures the maximum efficiency of the system.
