FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to ophthalmology, and can be used in surgical management of glaucoma. Form a conjunctival, superficial scleral flap with a base to the limbus, perform trabeculectomy, and iridectomy. Scleral flap is formed 6–7 mm in length, centered, assembled so that its width decreases by 1/3 to 1/2. Scleral flap is laid in place and fixed at the edges by two seams.
EFFECT: method provides the creation of reliable ways of outflow of the RF, reducing the risk of sclero-scleral and sclero-conjunctival scarring in the area of the formed folds of the flap and obtaining a stable antihypertensive effect with a decrease in the number of repeated operations by sewing in the middle of the scleral flap with a floss and its protection.
