SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to ophthalmology, and can be used in surgical management of primary open angle glaucoma. Form a conjunctival, superficial scleral flap with a base to the limbus, perform trabeculectomy, and iridectomy. Scleral flap is raised and once twisted in the middle by 180° so that the inner surface of its lower part faces outwards. Lay the flap in place and the edges are sealed.

EFFECT: method provides the creation of additional ways of outflow of intraocular fluid, a reduction in the risk of scarring in the zone of torsion of the flap and the obtaining of a stable hypotensive effect with a decrease in the number of repeated operations due to the lack of contact between the scleral flap and sclera and conjunctiva during the active proliferation of tissues in the postoperative period.
