SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for downloading web pages. Method comprises: in response to the page load completion event, registering the final scroll value of the current page, the initial value of the scrollbar of the current page and the moment when the current page is loaded, in response to the scroll event of the scroll bar – recording the actual start time of the scroll bar and the actual scroll trigger value related to the scroll bar; calculating the speed of pageview and calculating the remaining time of pageview; and when the remaining time for viewing the page satisfies the specified condition – sending to the server a request to receive a page related to the following pages, loading and adding page data for the following pages returned by the server to the end of the current page.
EFFECT: technical result is a reduction in the loading time of the web page to ensure continuous viewing of the content by the user.
