FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction and repair of a railway track. Rail track contains a curved path section in which the strength properties of the outer rail are higher than the strength properties of the internal rail. Increase in strength properties can be achieved by installing a rail from a material with higher strength properties, or a rail of a heavier profile, or a rail for high-speed traffic. Intensity of wear of the external rail is reduced when the trains move in curves.
EFFECT: increase in the service life of the track in curves is achieved.
