SUBSTANCE: arrangement of a curved road portion in plan comprises a rail track. The curved portion is shifted in the places of interaction of the wheel - rail system elements on the rail rolling surface away from the center of the curve by changing outer rail canting. The process of interaction between the rail and the train undercarriage is performed by the track made with a shift in the places of interaction of the wheel - rail system elements on the rail rolling surface away from the center of the curve.
EFFECT: possibility to improve the reliability and increase the service life of the track and rolling stock.
