FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering. Sailing wind turbine has a movable mast, a laminated working sail with variable sails, and a secondary energy conversion device. Working sail consists of sector pivoting plates with a common drive inertia bushing, the swivel base of the wind farm is equipped with a disconnecting weather vane containing a lifting sail and control devices for it both in normal operation and for protecting the wind farm against increased wind loads.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the reliability and safety of the installation while simplifying the design.
