FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the methods for liquefying a hydrocarbon stream. Step a: passing the feed gas simultaneously with the flow of the cooling mixture through the heat exchanger so as to obtain at least partially liquefied hydrocarbon stream with the temperature of less than -140 °C. Stage b: draining the flow of the cooling mixture from the heat exchanger through the outlet with the highest temperature of the heat exchanger. Step c: feeding the cooling mixture, which is obtained in step b to the phase separator in order to obtain the gaseous refrigerant stream and the first liquid refrigerant stream. Step d: passing the first liquid refrigerant stream, which is obtained in step c through the heat exchanger from the first inlet to the "intermediate" outlet, behind which the refrigerant stream thus obtained is throttled, wherein the temperature T1 in the mentioned outlet is such that, as a result of mentioned throttling, the gaseous fraction is less than 20 %. Step e: passing the gaseous refrigerant stream, which is obtained in step c through the heat exchanger from the inlet to the outlet opening at the temperature T3, the lowest temperature of the mentioned heat exchanger.
EFFECT: method for liquefying a hydrocarbon stream is proposed.
