FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water-based drilling fluids and can find application in the construction of oil and gas wells under the conditions of high bottomhole temperatures, as well as increased mineralization of drilling fluids. Drilling mud contains, by wt.%: caustic soda 0.03–0.05; calcined soda 0.03–0.05; clay powder bentonite 4.3–7.2; NaCl 29.5–32.2; CaCl2 8–10; carboxymethylated starch with a high degree of substitution C3=60–70 0.8–2.2; water – the rest.
EFFECT: ability of the drilling mud to retain properties under conditions of increased mineralization and temperature.
