FIELD: heating equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering, in particular to gas heaters, regenerative, and can be used in the development of gas regenerative heaters for wind tunnels. Regenerative gas heater contains a nozzle with heat-accumulating element sealed in the body at the end of the gas outlet, the nozzle is made in the form of a glass with permeable side walls and impermeable ends, heat-accumulating element of the nozzle is made either in the form of a disk package with elements for distancing the discs from each other along the nozzle axis, or in the form of a gas permeable filler. In heater variants, the heat accumulating nozzle is made either in the form of a cassette of glasses of the same length with a different cross-sectional shape, or in the form of a cassette of axially symmetric arranged cups of annular shape. In addition, as a gas permeable filler, a backfill of balls or particles of a different shape is used, either wire knitting or shavings, or is made of gas permeable cermets, or in the form of a coil of wire, the coils in which are located at some distance from each other.

EFFECT: technical result of the use of inventions is that it is possible to create heaters for various requirements, and also a simplification of the design and improvement of its technical characteristics are provided; the invention also allows to expand the capabilities of the heater, simplifying its manufacture and operation.
