SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to transport, in particular to foldable bicycles. Foldable bicycle comprises a frame, a front wheel assembly and a rear wheel assembly. Frame defines a pivot axis and a pivot and locking mechanism. Pivot and locking mechanism comprises a base, a locking housing and a pivot housing. Locking housing is configured to receive the base. Locking housing comprises pins. Foldable bicycle comprises a frame having a pivot and locking mechanism comprising a base, a pivot housing and a locking housing. Pivot housing defines a pivot axis. Locking housing is configured to lock the frame in a folded position or in an unfolded position. Front wheel assembly is configured to rotate about the pivot axis. Rear wheel assembly, located on the frame, defines an opening. Front wheel assembly is located in the opening when the bicycle is in the folded position. Pivot housing and base cooperate with the locking housing when the bicycle is in the folded and unfolded positions.
EFFECT: bicycle easier to transport is made.
