SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to pedal mounting mechanisms. Pedal mounting mechanism comprises a mount, a resilient member and a bracket. Mount supports the bicycle pedal and rotatably interacts with the bicycle crank arm. Resilient member is coupled to the mount. Bracket is attached between the mount and the resilient member. Bracket includes a pair of openings configured for interaction with the crank arm. Resilient member presses the bracket into selective mechanical interaction with the mount in the first and second positions, which are rotated around the crank arm. First mounting position places the pedal in working position away from the crank arm. Second mounting position places the pedal in a storage position along the crank arm. Pair of openings in the bracket is configured to place first and second pair of studs on the end and side surfaces of the crank arm, respectively. Pedal-crank arm assembly comprises a crank arm, a mount, resilient member and a bracket.
EFFECT: lighter pedal mounting mechanism.
