SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry and can be used in installations of electric centrifugal pumps for grinding solid abrasive particles contained in the pumped liquid during downhole oil production. Stage contains an impeller with blades and a guiding apparatus having blades in the form of prisms. Guiding device is formed by a cylindrical body with upper and lower discs, between which are blades, and prisms are arranged on the inner surface of the cylindrical body to form a crown and are made of a material whose hardness exceeds the hardness of the grinding abrasive particles. Lateral surfaces of the scapula blades are inclined at an angle that provides a collision with abrasive particles emerging from the impeller in the flow of liquid at an angle close to 90 degrees.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the efficiency of grinding hard abrasive particles contained in the pumped liquid and increasing the time between centrifugal pump failure.
