FIELD: personal protection equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to respiratory protective equipment for from human respiratory organs and it is intended for use in gas masks. Filtering-absorbing box includes a cylindrical body made of a thermoplastic material with an outer mouth for passage of purified air, a sorbent-absorber charge placed in the inner cavity of the body, a mesh and anti-dust tampons. According to the invention, radially disposed longitudinal ribs are provided on the walls of the body in its inner cavity, the burden is a block-monolithic structure with internal porosity, in which the sorbent-absorbent particles are made in the form of irregularly shaped granules of 0.4–1.68 mm in size, the granules being interconnected with the inner walls of the housing, with longitudinal ribs and anti-dust tampons with a polymeric thermoplastic binder, and at least polypropylene is used as the thermoplastic material of the housing.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing the resistance of the sorbent-absorber during breathing and increasing the strength of the connection of the block-monolithic charge with the body.
