FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measurement for diagnostic purposes, in particular to estimation methods of state of the cardiovascular system, and can be used to determine modulus of longitudinal flexibility of vessel wall based on endoscopic optical coherence tomography. It is determined as a deforming effect on biological tissue under study or part of its pulse wave. First structural image of the biological tissue under study or part of it is obtained by means of optical coherent tomograph, and obtained for a moment of time corresponding to diastole. Second structural image of biological tissue under study or part of it is obtained by means of optical coherent tomograph, and obtained for a moment of time corresponding to systole. First structural image is compared with the second structural image to determine modulus of longitudinal flexibility. In this case, the surface area on which deforming effect is applied is considered equal to scanning area of optical coherence tomograph when obtaining the second structural image, which in turn is equal to the scanning area of the optical coherence tomograph when receiving the first structural image. Normal component of deforming effect with which pulse wave affects the biological tissues or part of them is calculated on the basis of values of systolic and diastolic pressure, which in turn are obtained with the help of a blood pressure sensor. Control pixels are sequentially isolated on the first and the second structural images. Control pixels are grouped into pairs of control pixel so that each control pixel from the second structural image is most likely to match some control pixel from the first structural image, moreover, one control pixel could be include only in one pair of control pixels at a time. Independently determine pixel displacement values for each pair of control pixels, and determined pixel displacement values are vector. Vector values of pixel displacement for each pair of control pixels are independently spread out along coordinate axes. Longitudinal pixel displacements for each pair of control pixels are considered equal to vector projections of pixel displacement vectors on ordinate axis. Longitudinal dimensions of deforming region are calculated by combining longitudinal pixel displacements for all pairs of control pixels.
EFFECT: invention provides increase in accuracy of determining the modulus of longitudinal flexibility for vessel wall by using a pulse wave as a deforming effect.
