FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas producing industry and is designed to treat the outer surface of drill pipes from contaminants when they rise from a well. Device consists of the upper and lower parts, connected with each other by bolts, with an elastic elastic element placed between them. Upper part is equipped with a glass with an axial channel, in which perimeters on the inner surface there are permanent magnets. Lower part is equipped with two half-cylinders with fixing corners on the outer surface, connected with each other by bolts. In the body of the semi-cylinders, a series of longitudinal grooves are provided for free draining of the drilling fluid. Resilient elastic member has one through-going radial groove. Device makes it possible to replace the elastic elastic element without stopping the drilling process and to remove metal particles and chips from the surface of the drill pipes. When falling into the hole of foreign metal objects, the latter are captured and held by permanent magnets placed in at least two rows, with a staggered displacement.

EFFECT: improves cleaning efficiency and maintainability.
