SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a dust collector for a vacuum cleaner, including a first cyclone, installed in an outer housing for separating dust from air sucked from its outside and introducing air from which the dust is separated into its interior, a plurality of second cyclones disposed in the interior of the first cyclone to separate fine dust from the air introduced into the interior of the first cyclone and a cover member, which is arranged to close the inlet of the second cyclone, the cyclones disposed adjacent to each other from the number of the first and second cyclones, define a first space within the first cyclone, and said closure member forms a second space communicating with said first space between said inlet and said closure member and a guide vane is provided at the entrance, elongated in the form of a spiral along its inner periphery, to create a rotating flow in the air introduced into the interior of the second cyclone through the first and second spaces.
