FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for separating loose mixtures, more particularly to self-cleaning sieves using a ball cleaning mechanism, and can find application in agriculture, in grain cleaning machines, as well as in other industries. Device for sifting loose material contains a sieve and pallet underneath with sidewalls and a mesh bottom, divided by partitions into cells in which cleansing balls are placed made from a resilient-elastic material. Sieve is made in the form of a perforated sheet, which is mounted on a free fit in the sidewalls of the pallet and is pinned on top by plate springs. Pallet is provided with at least one deflector for deflecting the sheet downwards.
EFFECT: achieved technical result consists in higher cleaning efficiency of screening surface by increasing the intensity of the sieve vibrations and increasing the area of interaction of the balls with the screening surface, simplifying the installation work and increasing their productivity.
