SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely to methods of growing rice. Method includes presowing seed treatment by wetting them in an aqueous solution of copper sulfate and foliar top dressing of plants in tillering phase in the morning by a solution of copper-containing fertilizer. In this case, an aqueous solution of copper sulfate with hydrated lime in a ratio of 1:0.75 is used to treat the seeds. For non-root dressing of vegetating plants in the tillering phase, an aqueous solution of a mixture of copper sulphate and soda ash in a ratio of 1:1 is used at a rate of 400 l/ha.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the yield by ensuring efficient processing of rice on meadow-chernozem soil.
