FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a drying technique, namely to devices for drying bast beet raw materials, in particular retted scrub straw. Drying plant for bast beans comprises sectional drying chamber 1, conveyor 2, and air duct system 3 for moving the heat carrier in each subsequent drying section in the opposite direction with respect to the direction of movement of conveyor 2. Drying chamber 1 inside on a certain part of t₁ of its length along the movement of the drying agent is divided into two parts by an unpressurized horizontal partition 5, in the upper part of the drying chamber at the end of an unsealed partition, after it, air heater 6 is installed, and inside the upper part of the drying chamber after heater 6 in the direction of the coolant movement at t₂ certain distance from it guide 7 is fixed at a certain angle.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the quality of drying of basted raw materials, rational use of a coolant, and reducing energy costs.
