FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: downhole tool provided with: a first element of a downhole tool containing a reactive metal; the second element of the downhole tool, containing a decomposable resin composition that stimulates the decomposition of a reactive metal, the preferably decomposable resin composition comprising a decomposable resin, when decomposed, an acid is formed, or the decomposable resin composition contains a decomposable resin and an inorganic substance or organic matter, which stimulates the decomposition of a reactive metal; as well as, if necessary, an element of decomposable rubber. Moreover, a method of drilling wells in which a downhole tool is used is proposed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of the downhole tool.
