SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a downhole tool equipped with an element containing a chemically active metal, as well as to drilling options using such a tool. Downhole tool comprises a first element of a downhole tool containing a chemically active metal, and a second element of a downhole tool containing a decomposable resin composition which stimulates decomposition of a chemically active metal. Decomposable resin composition contains a water-soluble resin which is not a resin, decomposition of which forms an acid. Besides, three versions of the drilling method using such a downhole tool are disclosed.
EFFECT: providing a downhole tool having the required strength and ability to decompose under the specified conditions.
