In the method, the floating rescue chamber for a submarine is a rugged hull with upper and lower access hatches and a device for attaching the floating rescue chamber to the submarine's coaming platform with on-board valve and pipelines inside and outside the floating rescue chamber and with an automatic airflow rate regulator of the depressurization system. Between the airflow rate regulator and the on-board valve, there is a device with a pressure regulator of the next decompression step that automatically closes when the floating rescue chamber reaches the pressure of the next decompression step.

EFFECT: safe reduction in pressure in the floating rescue chamber is achieved after the chamber has surfaced.
