SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding, namely, to submarine's rescue equipment to ensure the rescue of the crew in the event of an accident. In the method, the floating rescue chamber for a submarine is a rugged hull with upper and lower access hatches and a device for attaching the floating rescue chamber to the submarine's coaming platform with on-board valve and pipelines inside and outside the floating rescue chamber and with an automatic airflow rate regulator of the depressurization system. Between the airflow rate regulator and the on-board valve, there is a device with a pressure regulator of the next decompression step that automatically closes when the floating rescue chamber reaches the pressure of the next decompression step.
EFFECT: safe reduction in pressure in the floating rescue chamber is achieved after the chamber has surfaced.
