FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, namely to the determination of the longitudinal displacements of rail bars of a continuous welded railway track. According to the invention, the distance between the measurement points along the entire length of the whip and the number thereof are determined by calculation. Set on the neutral axis of the rail at the points of measurement conical metal tubes, in each of which there are two strain gauges, a temperature sensor, an independent power source, a transceiver device. Device automatically reads the strain gage sensors data immediately before and after the rolling stock passes, while the temperature of the rail is measured simultaneously with the temperature sensor. Results of these measurements through the transceiver device are fed into a single data processing system located outside the cone-shaped tubes. Determine the longitudinal mechanical stresses at each measuring point. Calculate the difference between longitudinal mechanical stresses at adjacent measurement points. Calculate according to Hooke's law the longitudinal movements of the rail track between adjacent measurement points, using the resulting difference in mechanical stresses. Summarize the results of these calculations for longitudinal displacements across all points of measurement of the rail track and determine the presence of the hijacking of the rail lash taking into account the weight of the rolling stock and the temperature of the rails at the time of the measurements.
EFFECT: as a result, it becomes possible to determine the longitudinal displacements along the length of the rail track, determine the presence of the theft and its magnitude.
