SUBSTANCE: method of manufacturing panels having a decorative surface, said panels, at least, contain a base and an upper layer, wherein said top layer comprises a paper layer having a printed pattern, and wherein said method at least comprises a step in which said paper layer is provided with a thermosetting resin by conveying said paper layer through a resin applicator in the application direction of the resin, and a step in which said paper layer is provided by at least a portion of said printed pattern by means of a digital inkjet printer. In this case, said printed pattern comprises a wood pattern having tree veins extending generally in the direction of the veins, substantially corresponding to said direction of application of the resin.
EFFECT: methods of manufacturing panels with decorative surface are proposed.
