SUBSTANCE: method of manufacture of panels having a decorative surface in which the said panels comprise at least a substrate and an upper layer. The said upper layer comprises a paper layer having a printed pattern and the said method at least comprises a step of provision of the said paper layer with a thermosetting resin and a step of provision of the said resin-provided paper layer with at least a portion of the said printed pattern. To provide the said portion of the said printed pattern, pigment-containing paints are applied to the said paper layer by means of a digital inkjet printer, and the dry weight of the total volume of the said pigment-containing paints applied to the said paper layer is less than 15 grams per sq. meter.
EFFECT: creation of a decorative panel, which has a high degree of durability.
