FIELD: decorative coatings.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a decorative carrier that can be used in a method for manufacturing panels having a decorative surface, or so-called decorative panels. Decorative paper or film for application to substrates in the form of a panel contains a base layer, an inkjet printing surface and a digitally printed pattern obtained by printing with a single-pass printer and containing a matrix of many, preferably at least 200, printed ink dots per inch, the said matrix, when viewed in the direction of (W) the width of the paper or film, usually consists of evenly distributed printed ink dots of the same size, except for a smaller part of the printed pattern area, on which the mentioned matrix is modified.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at solving the problems of stripes and non-working nozzles, as well as visible changes in color intensity when passing through a printing machine.
