FIELD: agriculture; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building. Induction difference-amplitude method and device for determining the location of tractor units when moving over live wire are realized by the fact that the intensity of the magnetic field is measured in two horizontal planes by means of two or more induction converters located at different heights on the tractor unit. Based on the measured values, two difference signals are generated using the two difference signal drivers and the comparison circuit. Further, the path error signal is formed as the difference of said difference signals, for which the inputs of the difference signal drivers are connected to the outputs of the inductive converters, and the outputs of the drivers are connected to the inputs of the comparison circuit.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of the location of tractor units.
