FIELD: navigation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to self-propelled machines positioning electric induction system. System consists of a stationary or mobile navigation inductor and a location signal sensor, in particular, machine-tractor units (MTU). Navigation inductor consists of one or more current-carrying wires and an alternating current source. MTU location signal sensor consists of two magnetic antennae and a circuit for comparing output voltages of the antennae. Alternating current source is made in the form of a sweeping frequency source. MTU location signal sensor additionally contains two memory devices connected between the antennae outputs and the comparator circuit inputs.

EFFECT: high accuracy of locating MTU.
