SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Method for evaluating the antagonistic activity of the lactobacilli of the colonic biotope of a patient with respect to a variety of bacteria by a two-stage cultivation of an antagonist microorganism and a test culture under conditions of a combined system is proposed. Method involves pouring the molten MRS-agar into a Petri dish, the agar is hardened to dissect into two equal parts, remove one and the released volume is filled with a molten agar of the appropriate composition. On the surface of the MRS-agar, an antagonist microorganism is cultured, on the surface of the unseparated half, the test culture is cultured under conditions appropriate to the requirements of the test cultures. Antagonistic activity of the test culture is estimated from the distance (in mm) from the middle of the edge of the lawn of the lactobacilli in the direction perpendicular to it to the frontal point of the edge of the lawn of the test culture.
EFFECT: invention provides an accurate assessment of the antagonistic activity of lactobacilli.
