SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring technology and can be used to control the flow of various gases and liquids. Method for measuring the flow rate is that the flow is flowed sequentially through a pressure-driven drive with throttling regulation in the bypass and through a volume flowmeter associated with the drive, while the speed of rotation of the drive is set by the bypass flow rate according to the zero differential pressure on the flowmeter, whose flow rate determines the flow rate.
EFFECT: use for the rotation of the drive of the flow meter internal energy of the measured flow, uniform rotation of the flow meter (flowmeter) and a smooth change in flow rate, without pulsation, when measuring.
