FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of marine instrument making, namely to automated systems for studying zooplankton. Claimed video recorder of zooplankton contains a video surveillance camera. At the same time, it contains a frame in the lower part of which a pump is fixed, at least two deep-water boxes, between which a transparent container is provided, equipped with one or more optical windows, two or more nozzles containing screen filters whose mesh size is smaller than the size of the zooplankton particles and a hose. And in the deep-water boxes there are electronic units, a video surveillance camera, illuminators, an optical system for macro shooting and portholes. In this case, the illuminators and the video surveillance camera are located directly near the optical windows of the transparent container, the field of view and the depth of the sharply portrayed space of the surveillance camera are greater than or equal to the corresponding dimensions of the inner cavity of the transparent container. In the upper part of the frame, a control unit is mounted, one or more sensors of the aqueous medium, and the cavity of the transparent container is serially connected through a branch pipe with a screen filter and a hose with the first input of the pump, and through another branch pipe with a screen filter the cavity of the transparent container through the second input of the pump communicates with the surrounding space. Moreover, the control unit is configured to receive control commands via a cable-cable, generate control commands, collect and process video data from a video surveillance camera, water environment sensors and transmit collected data over a cable-cable, while it is electrically connected to electronic units, water environment sensors and a pump, and the electronic units are electrically connected to the video surveillance camera and illuminators.
EFFECT: registration of physiological and motor activity of specific zooplankton in situ at various depths under natural hydrophysical, hydro-optical and hydrochemical conditions with high reliability.
