SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and is used for finishing ceilings in the interiors of residential, commercial and other premises, in particular the technology of shaping a profile of a given shape to create volumetric spatial constructions of stretch ceilings. Method of forming a profile of a given shape for stretch ceilings, in which the profile is bent in a horizontal plane, giving it a predetermined shape. In this case, from the rigid material, the elements of the template are cut out, in each of which the coincident sides of adjacent elements have alternating protrusions and grooves. Template is assembled by joining the sides of adjacent elements to form a stud joint. Profile is bent in the horizontal plane along the end of the template, giving it a predetermined shape by rigid attachment to the template.

EFFECT: technical result consists in the improvement of the method for forming a profile of a given shape by changing technological operations, simplifying and accelerating the process of profile formation, with the possibility of performing an operation to form a profile on a construction site, while at the same time ensuring a clear correspondence of the profile to a given form that allows the implementation of a variety of design solutions for ceiling structures.
