SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to computer engineering and can be used to monitor the operability and functioning of systems and subsystems of platforms. System comprises a network of sensors coupled to a platform; a plurality of systems coupled to platform, wherein said plurality of systems and the sensor network are configured to provide the platform with information, the plurality of observation results being in said information; and a computer system coupled to the platform, with a network of sensors and said plurality of systems for receiving information, including training information obtained in a known operability state of the platform from the sensor network and said plurality of systems, to create links between information blocks in the associative memory corresponding to the metadata in set of observation results; process information in associative memory to create a known profile among a plurality of known profiles, group the plurality of observation results into multiple groups based on the similarity between separate observation results in the plurality of observation results to form the current profile based on maintenance information and the metadata used to select a portion of the plurality of observation results that are generated after replacement of the portion in the platform, compare the current profile with multiple known profiles to create a comparison and identify the operability state for the platform in groups.
