Method comprises steps of: providing, through the processor, a synchronisation timestamp that corresponds to the last synchronisation of password credentials between the source service and the target service; accepting a hashed set of changed password credentials, wherein the hashed set of changed password credentials includes only changes made with respect to the set of password credentials in the source service from the last synchronisation of password credentials; and exporting the hashed set of changed password credentials to the target service for use in authenticating identity information.
