FIELD: agriculture; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machinery, in particular to machines for cutting tops and rootlets of root crops. Device for trimming root crops contains a frame and a drive conveying organ, made in the form of a horizontal disk with holes. Above the horizontal disk sequentially in the direction of the disc rotation, there are a guide, a cutter, a botcher, a beater and a brush. Under the horizontal disk there is a cutting device and an ejector. Vine cutter comprises a blade mounted between two copying runners with the possibility of adjusting their relative position. Copying carrier with the help of spring-loaded parallelogram hangers are pivotally connected to the bracket, rigidly connected to the frame. Lower plane of the blade is parallel to the surface of the horizontal disk and in the initial position of the cutter apparatus is located from it at a distance less than the minimum vertical dimension of the heads of the cut radish. Edge of the blade is at an angle to the path of the horizontal disk. Design of the cutting device is similar to the design of the vine cutter. Cutting device is located in a mirror manner with respect to the vine cutter. Upper surface of its copying carriers in the initial position is located with a clearance relative to the horizontal disc.

EFFECT: use of the invention will improve the quality of trimming of root crops.
