FIELD: agriculture; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building, particularly, to machines for separation of tops from spherical shape root crops. Device comprises two V-belts arranged on the frame, each of which covers a pair of pulleys. Protective covers are rigidly installed above both belts, on them with a minimum clearance relative to upper sides of pulleys there is a replaceable replacing plate made of resilient material with guide slot and knife fixed on its lower face. Belts are arranged on frame with possibility of changing distance between them.
EFFECT: invention usage allows to carry out quality treatment of root crops.
