FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: method of fire protection of warehouses with shelf storage and the signal-starting standalone automatic device for implementing the method relate to to the field of automatic fire-fighting systems with water-filled sprinkler networks, including with the use of water spray. Method involves the early detection of fire through the use of at least four spatially separated temperature sensors in each controlled area of the warehouse, connected to a separate device, a signaling autonomous automotor that performs: fire detection, automatic start-up of a controlled sprinkler.
EFFECT: device is able to work as part of a group of devices, to perform a start-up delay, to be adjusted to the necessary operating conditions.
