FIELD: fire-fighting means.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for fire-extinguishing. In order to enhance efficiency of fire extinguishing due to early detection of fire centre, application of water pulverisation, supplied only onto area of horizontal shelf projection at definite length, with blockade of whole fire centre and adjacent zones, device for extinguishing fire in shelf storehouses consists of distributing pipeline with sprinkler sprayers, which passes in the centre along shelves in upper point at distance from goods which ensures opening of flare of pulverised jets for shelf width. Above distributing pipeline in immediate vicinity installed is screen in form of broken plane or semisphere for accumulation thermal flows with apex above the centre of shelves and pipeline. Projections of screen and shelves on horizontal plane are equal.
EFFECT: increase of fire-extinguishing efficiency.
