SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of rodent control. Device for holding a bait comprises a housing element, a bait platform, a through opening, a bait fixing device and a closing housing. Housing element is configured for insertion into the manhole. Platform is located in the housing element. Platform delimits the through opening, through which the rodent can get to the bait. Closing housing is mounted for movement relative to the bait platform. Closing housing in the open position is moved from the bait platform so that the through opening is open. In the closed position, the closing housing is moved to the bait platform so that the through opening is closed.
EFFECT: reduced risk to humans and the environment.
