SUBSTANCE: axial turbomachine stator (2) comprises inner shell (28) with an annular row of openings, annular row of blades (26), at least one blade-retaining plate (36, 136, 236). Said blades extend substantially radially through the said openings, respectively, and each blade comprises cut-out (34) on the inside of the shell. At least one blade-retaining plate (36, 136, 236) is inserted in at least one cut-out (34), with means of immobilisation of the said plate in the cut-out(s). Means of immobilisation comprise at least one tongue (38, 138, 238) with an end forming support surface (40, 140, 240) in contact with part(s) of blade(s) (26) located radially directly between corresponding cut-out (34) and inner shell (28).
EFFECT: improved positioning accuracy, simple assembly process.
