FIELD: military equipment.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of military equipment, and more specifically to the means of drilling practical skills of interaction between operators and gunners of various weapons systems in imitation of close combat when firing direct fire. In the method, the simulator for practicing the skills of interaction between operators of close combat weapons contains a projection mini-polygon, including a multimedia screen with projection means for reproducing an image, simulators of close combat weapons. Further, the unit for the formation of educational and training tasks contains the formers of the elements of the multimedia mini polygon, which are connected to the information and interface exchange adapters connected to the synthesizing computer. And the system for determining the coordinates of aiming and tracking targets includes infrared IR emitters located on the multimedia screen. Said coordinators are installed on simulators of close combat, multichannel coordinate extraction unit and control computer. Said entire system is integrated into a local area network.

EFFECT: improved quality of training trainees in solving tactical and fire tasks to defeat simulated targets in a group.
