FIELD: military simulators.
SUBSTANCE: educational and training facility for preparing mortar crews contains an automated workplace for the training leader with a personal computer, a unit for monitoring the trainee’s actions and a virtual tactical training unit, a multimedia projector, a screen, and an audio system. The trainee's automated workplace contains a personal computer and a virtual tactical training unit. A virtual reality helmet and a mortar, complemented by a mine simulator with installed motion sensors, are integrated into the trainee’s automated workstation. Sensors are installed on the mortar guidance mechanisms to ensure integration with a virtual reality helmet, and mine simulator motion sensors are installed on the mortar reloading mechanism and on the breech.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of training specialists, a reduction in training time, and a reduction in the level of injuries.
